India will get its first bullet train next year on August 15th. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the bullet train will first run on the Surat-Bilimora section. In the second phase, it will start operating between Vapi and Surat, and then between Vapi and Ahmedabad. After that, the Thane to Ahmedabad and Mumbai to Ahmedabad routes will be opened.
The trains on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor will run at speeds of up to 320 km/hour. This project, being developed with the cooperation of Japan, is expected to be completed by 2029.
The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor, being built for the operation of the bullet train, is approximately 508 km long.
भारत को अपनी पहली बुलेट टेªन अगले साल 15 अगस्त को मिल जाएगी। रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने बताया कि सबसे पहले सूरत-बिलिमोरा खंड पर बुलेट टेªन चलाई जाएगी। दूसरे चरण में वापी से सूरत, फिर वापी से अहमदाबाद के बीच इसका संचालन शुरू होगा। फिर ठाणे से अहमदाबाद और मुंबई से अहमदाबाद रूट खोल जाएगा।
मुंबई-अहमदाबाद हाई-स्पीड रेल काॅरिडोर में टेªनें 320 किमी/घंटे तक की गति से चलेंगी। जापान के सहयोग से विकसित इस परियोजना के 2029 तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है।
बुलेट टेªन के संचालन के लिए बनाया जा रहा मुंबई-अहमदाबाद होई-स्पीड रेल काॅरिडोर लगभग 508 किमी लंबा है।
