Swami Vivekananda E-Library Scheme

To promote research in the state’s higher education institutions, the government launched this scheme from the year 2023-24. This scheme was implemented in government colleges and state universities and their campuses. Under this scheme, a maximum of ₹18 lakh is provided to students and faculty for research.

Swami Vivekananda e-library scheme will be operated in the departments

The Swami Vivekananda Uttarakhand e-library scheme will now be implemented in higher education and interested departments. The proposal in this regard was approved in the Dhami cabinet. The proposal stated that under the scheme, facilities such as e-books, newspapers, magazine reading material, and research journals will also be provided. A fixed fee will be charged from students for this, which will be ₹100 for traditional courses (BA/BSc/BCom), ₹250 for semi-professional courses (BEd/Law), and ₹500 for professional courses (engineering, medical, agriculture).

राज्य के उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में शोध कार्य को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सरकार ने वर्ष 2023-24 से इस योजना शुरू की थी। राजकीय महाविद्यालयों एवं राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों और उसके परिसरों में यह योजना लागू की गई थी। जिसके तहत छात्रों और शिक्षकों को शोध के लिए अधिकतम 18 लाख रुपये तक दिए जाने की व्यवस्था है।

विभागों में संचालित होगी स्वामी विवेकानंद ई-पुस्तकालय योजना

उच्च शिक्षा एवं इच्छुक विभागों में अब स्वामी विवेकानंद उत्तराखंड ई-पुस्तकालय योजना संचालित होगी। धामी कैबिनेट में इस संबंध में आए प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी गई। प्रस्ताव में कहा गया कि योजना के तहत ई किताबें, समाचार पत्र, मैगजीन रीडिंग मेटेरियल के साथ शोध जर्नल्स की भी सुविधा प्रदान की जाएगी। इसके लिए छात्रों से एक निश्चित शुल्क लिया जाएगा जो कि पारंपरिक पाठ्यक्रमों (बीए/बीएससी/बीकॉम) के लिए 100 रुपये, सेमी प्रोफेशनल कोर्स (बीएड/लॉ) के लिए 250 रुपये, प्रोफेशनल कोर्स (इंजिनियरिंग, मेडिकल, एग्रीकल्चर) के लिए 500 रुपये होगा।

Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) inaugurated the India Himalayan International Strategic Forum (BHISHMA) at Lok Bhavan. BHISHMA is a strategic think tank that will bring together intellectual resources based in Dehradun to establish Uttarakhand as a leading center for strategic thinking in the country.
The forum will establish itself as an influential think tank in the field of national security and strategic thinking.

National Winter Games

Youth Disaster Mitra Scheme

The Yuva Aapda Mitra scheme was launched in September 2025. It aims to train 4,310 youth associated with the NCC, NSS, Scout Guides, and Mera Yuva Bharat. Under the scheme, youth are provided with information on disaster understanding and risk identification, first aid, search and rescue, and relief camp management.

सितंबर-2025 से युवा आपदा मित्र, योजना शुरू की गई। इसमें एनसीसी, एनएसएस, स्काउट गाइड और मेरा युवा भारत से जुड़े 4310 को प्रशिक्षण दिया जाना है। योजना के तहत युवाओं को आपदा की समझ और जोखिम पहचान, प्राथमिक उपचार देना, खोज एवं बचाव, राहत शिविर प्रबंधन आदि के बारे में जानकारी दी जाती है।

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Single Women Self-Employment Scheme

Single women in the state will become self-reliant through self-employment. The government will provide a 75 percent subsidy on the project cost to these women. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will launch the scheme from Dehradun on February 10. Initially, 484 women from various districts will benefit from the scheme.
Under the Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s Single Women Self-Employment Scheme, unmarried, divorced, destitute, widowed, abandoned, transgender women, and acid attack victims of the state are eligible, provided they are between 21 and 50 years of age. The applicant’s annual income should not exceed ₹72,000.
The scheme initially aims to benefit two thousand women.

Women will receive grants of up to one and a half lakh rupees.

This scheme, which aims to empower women by connecting them with self-employment opportunities and making them self-reliant, will provide subsidies ranging from 50 to 75 percent. The beneficiary will only have to contribute 25 percent.

They can pursue self-employment in these areas.

Under the scheme, single women can become self-reliant by pursuing self-employment in various fields such as tailoring, beauty parlors, bakeries, and shops. According to department officials, applications were invited from women under the scheme. Eligible women are also being selected from other districts.

प्रदेश में एकल महिलाएं स्वरोजगार कर आत्मनिर्भर बनेंगी। सरकार की ओर से इसके लिए महिलाओं को परियोजना लागत पर 75 प्रतिशत सब्सिडी दी जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी 10 फरवरी को देहरादून से योजना का शुभारंभ करेंगे। शुरुआत में विभिन्न जिलों की 484 महिलाओं को योजना से लाभान्वित किया जाएगा।
उत्तराखंड मुख्यमंत्री एक महिला स्वरोजगार योजना के तहत राज्य की अविवाहित, तलाकशुदा, निराश्रित, विधवा, परित्यक्ता, ट्रांसजेंडर, एसिड, उपराध पीड़ित महिलाएं पात्र हैं, जिनकी आयु 21 से 50 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए। योजना के लिए आवेदक की वार्षिक आय 72,000 से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए।
योजना के तहत शुरुआत में दो हजार महिलाओं को लाभान्वित करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।

महिलाओं को डेढ़ लाख तक मिलेगा अनुदान

महिलाओं को स्वरोजगार से जोड़कर उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर बनाने वाली इस योजना में 50 से 75 प्रतिशत तक अनुदान दिया जाएगा। लाभार्थी को केवल 25 प्रतिशत का योगदान करना होगा।

इन क्षेत्रों में कर सकती हैं स्वरोजगार

योजना के तहत एकल महिलाएं टेलरिंग, ब्यूटी पार्लर, बेकरी, दुकान आदि विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में स्वरोजगार कर आत्मनिर्भर बन सकती हैं। विभाग के अधिकारियों के मुताबिक योजना के तहत महिलाओं से आवेदन मांग गए थे। अन्य जिलों से भी पात्र महिलाओं का चयन किया जा रहा है।

Alamban Village Scheme

The number of beneficiaries included in the central government’s sponsorship scheme is less than the number of needy individuals in the state. The government will launch the Chief Minister’s Sanidhya Scheme to provide benefits to eligible children who have been left out.
In the scheme being launched for the care of children with special needs, it should also be ensured that arrangements are made for their rehabilitation after they turn 18 years old.

केंद्र की स्पाॅन्सरशिप योजना में जितने लाभार्थियों को शामिल किया गया है, राज्य में जरूरतमंदों की संख्या उससे ज्यादा है। सरकार छूटे पात्र बच्चों को लाभ देने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री सानिध्य योजना लाएगी।
विशेष आवश्यकता वाले बच्चों देखरेख के लिए जो योजना शुरू की जा रही है, उसमंे यह भी सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि 18 वर्ष पूरे करने के बाद बच्चों का समायोजना कहां किया जाएगा।

Trout Promotion Scheme 2026

A trout promotion scheme has been launched at a cost of ₹170 crore.
Preparations are underway to send 20 tons of trout fish from Uttarakhand to Dubai every month. The Minister of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry said that the scheme will include the establishment of integrated raceway units, mini hatcheries, and cold chain equipment. In addition, fish farmers will receive personalized guidance for five years.
The scheme will strengthen the trout farming sector in the state in the coming years. The minister said that a new system of benefit transfer through Central Bank Digital Currency has been introduced under the trout promotion scheme.

The objective of the plan

• Trout Fish Production Units
• Availability of fish seed through the construction of trout hatcheries
• Employment generation
• Availability of protein-rich fresh fish

Works proposed under the scheme:

• For new beneficiaries/fish farmers: Construction of integrated raceway units, development of cold chain
• For existing fish farmers:
• Establishment of mini trout hatcheries
• Inputs (for five years)

In addition, an MoU was signed between the Fisheries Department and the National Building Construction Corporation Limited, Delhi, for the DPR (Detailed Project Report) of the Namami Gange Aquarium-cum-Discovery Learning Center project in the state, with an estimated cost of ₹250-300 crore.

170 करोड़ा की लागत से ट्राउट प्रोत्साहन योजना का शुभारंभ किया गया
उत्तराखंड से हर महीने 20 टन ट्राउट मछली दुबई भेजने की तैयारी है। मत्स्य एवं पशुपालन मंत्री ने कहा कि योजना के माध्यम से इंटीग्रेटेड रेसवेज यूनिट, मिनी हैचरी, कोल्ड चेन इेक्लपमेंट के कार्य किए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा मत्स्य पालकों को पांच साल तक व्यक्तिगत मार्गदर्शन दिया जाएगा।
योजना आने वाले वर्षों में राज्य में ट्राउट फार्मिंग क्षेत्र को मजबूत करेगी। मंत्री ने कहा कि ट्राउट प्रोत्साहन योजना के तहत सेंट्रल बैंक डिजिटल करेंसी के माध्यम से लाभ हस्तांतरण की नई प्रणाली की शुरूआत की गई है।

इसके अलावा मत्स्य विभाग एवं नेशनल विल्डिंग कंस्ट्रक्शन काॅरपोरेशन लिमिटेड दिल्ली के बीच राज्य में नमामि गंगे एक्वेरियम-कम-डिस्कवरी लर्निंग सेंटर परियोजना की डीपीआर के लिए एमओयू हस्ताक्षरित किया गया, जिसकी अनुमानित लागत 250-300 करोड़ है।

83 peaks opened for mountaineering expeditions in Uttarakhand.

To promote adventure tourism in Uttarakhand, the Forest and Tourism Departments have opened 83 peaks in the Garhwal and Kumaon Himalayan regions for mountaineering.
The prominent peaks, ranging in altitude from 5700 meters to 7756 meters above sea level, include Kamet, Nanda Devi (East), Chaukhamba group, Trishul group, Shivling, Satopanth, Changabang, Panchchuli, and Neelkanth. According to the mountaineering guidelines, Indian mountaineers will not have to pay peak fees, camping fees, or environmental fees to the state government for climbing these notified peaks. This decision has been taken with the aim of encouraging young Indian mountaineers and participants interested in adventure activities.

उत्तराखंड मंे साहसिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए वन और पर्यटन विभाग ने गढ़वाल व कुमाऊं हिमालयी क्षेत्र में 83 चोटियों को पर्वतारोहण के लिए खोल दिया है।
समुद्रतल से 5700 मीटर से लेकर 7756 मीटर तक की ऊंचाई वाली चोटियों में कामेट, नंदा देवी (पूर्वी), चैखंबा समूह, त्रिशूल समूह, शिवलिंग, सतोपंथ, चंगाबांग, पंचचूली, नीलकंठ प्रमुख रूप शामिल है। पर्वतारोहण की गाइडलाइन के अनुसार, अधिसूचित चोटियों पर भारतीय पर्वतारोहियों के लिए प्रदेश सरकार को पीक शुल्क, कैंपिंग शुल्क, पर्यावरण शुल्क नहीं देना होगा। यह निर्णय देश के युवा पर्वतारोहियों एवं साहसिक गतिविधियों में रुचि रखने वाले प्रतिभागियों को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से लिया गया है।

Lab on Wheels

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the Lab on Wheels (Infosys Springboard) for student skill enhancement from the Chief Minister’s camp office. This mobile lab will provide students with opportunities to enhance their skills in AI, coding, IoT, and other emerging technology fields. It will also assist them in learning various science experiments through virtual modes.
The Infosys Springboard Lab on Wheels will travel to institutions across the state for the next five years, raising awareness among students and providing them with training. The hands-on activities and practicals available in the Lab on Wheels are beneficial for students pursuing higher education, technical education, and school education.

लैब आॅन व्हील्स

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मुख्यमंत्री कैंप कार्यालय में से छात्र कौशल संवर्धन के लिए लैब आॅन व्हील्स (इंफोसिस स्प्रिंग बोर्ड) को हरी झंडी दिखा कर रवाना किया। यह लैब छात्रों को एआई, कोडिंग, आईओटी व अन्य इमर्जिंग टेक क्षेत्रों में कौशल संवर्धन की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराएगा। इसके साथ ही विज्ञान विषय के विभिन्न प्रयोगों को वर्चुअल मोड से सीखने में सहायता प्रदान करेगा।
इंफोसिस स्प्रिंग बोर्ड लैब आॅन व्हील्स आगमी पांच वर्ष तक पूरे राज्य संस्थाओं में जाकर छात्रों को जागरूक करते हुए उन्हें प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेगा। लैब आॅन व्हील्स में उपलब्ध हैंड आॅन एव प्रैक्टिकल्स उच्च शिक्षा, तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं विद्यालयी शिक्षा ग्रहण कर रहे छात्रों के लिए उपयोगी है।

25 new products from Uttarakhand have been identified for GI (Geographical Indication) tagging.

The state has identified 25 products for GI (Geographical Indication) tagging, including hill potatoes, lemons, Kausani tea, Nainital-Jeolikot honey, Almora Singodi sweet, Kafal fruit, and Harshil kidney beans.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand has immense potential in the field of honey production. Considering this, more effective efforts should be made to promote honey production under the ‘Honey Mission’. Organic certification of honey should be ensured in the state.
29 products from the state have received GI tags, of which 18 are related to agriculture and farmer welfare. Under the State Millet Policy, implemented at a cost of Rs. 134 crore, Mandua, Jhangora, Ramdana, Kauni, and Cheena millets have been included.

जीआई टैग के लिए राज्य का पहाड़ी आलू, नींबू, कौसानी की चाय, नैनीताल ज्योलिकोट का शहद, अल्मोड़ा सिंगोडी मिठाई, काफल, हर्षिल की राजमा सहित 25 उत्पादों को जीआई टैग के लिए चिह्नित किया गया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा, शहद उत्पादन के क्षेत्र में उत्तराखण्ड में व्यापक संभावनाएं हैं। इसे देखते हुए ‘हनी मिशन’ के तहत शहद उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए और अधिक प्रभावी प्रयास किए जाएं। राज्य में शहद का आॅर्गेनिक सर्टिफिकेशन सुनिश्चित किया जाए।
प्रदेश के 29 उत्पादों को जीआई टैग प्राप्त हुआ है, जिनमें से 18 कृषि एवं कृषि कल्याण से संबंधित हैं। राज्य में 134 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से लागू राज्य मोटा अनाज नीति के तहत मंडुवा, झंगोरा, रामदाना, कौणी एवं चीनी को शामिल किया गया है।

Devbhoomi Family Identity Card Scheme

प्रदेश में नियोजन विभाग की ओर से जल्द ही देवभूमि परिवार पहचान पत्र योजना लागू की जाएगी। हरियाणा की तर्ज पर केंद्र व राज्य की जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं का लाभ लाभार्थियों तक पहुंचाने के लिए परिवार पहचान पत्र बनाने का निर्णय लिया गया था।

For the first time, a labor force survey has been launched in Uttarakhand. This survey will enable an accurate assessment of employment and unemployment figures in the state.
This survey is being conducted through the socio-economic unit of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation of the Central Government. The Central Government has been conducting the Periodic Labour Force Survey since 2017, while this is the first time the state government is conducting the survey across all districts.
This survey will be conducted in both rural and urban areas of the state and will be carried out through the district and block-level employees of the Department of Economics and Statistics.
This will enable a comprehensive analysis of the actual employment situation. It will also help in determining the income generated from employment in both the organized and unorganized sectors.

उत्तराखंड में पहली बार श्रम बल सर्वे शुरू किया गया है। इस सर्वे से प्रदेश में रोजगार व बेरोजगारी आंकड़ों का सटीक आकलन किया जा सकेगा।
यह सर्वेक्षण केंद्र सरकार के सांख्यिकी कार्यक्रम एवं क्रियान्वयन मंत्रालय की सामाजिक-आर्थिक इकाई के माध्यम से संचालित किया जा रहा है। केंद्र सरकार वर्ष 2017 से आवधिक श्रम बल सर्वे का संचालन कर रही है, जबकि राज्य सरकार की ओर से पहली बार सभी जनपदों में सर्वे किया जा रहा है।
यह सर्वेक्षण राज्य के ग्रामीण एवं नगरीय दोनों क्षेत्रों में संचालित होगा और इसे अर्थ एवं संख्या विभाग के जिला व विकासखंड स्तर के कर्मचारियों के माध्यम से किया जाएगा।
ठसके माध्यम से रोजगार वास्तविक स्थिति का व्यापक विश्लेषण संभव हो सकेगा। इसके साथ ही संगठित व असंगठित क्षेत्रों में रोजगार से होने वाली आय का भी निर्धारण किया जा सकेगा।

Green Hydrogen Policy 2026: Uttarakhand

To promote the production of green hydrogen in Uttarakhand, the state cabinet has approved the Uttarakhand Green Hydrogen Policy 2026. The objective is to increase the use of green hydrogen (produced from renewable energy) in industries and other sectors within the state, replacing the currently used grey hydrogen (produced from thermal energy). This will boost development and employment in the state, contribute to achieving carbon emission reduction and climate change goals, and promote the creation of a green hydrogen market and demand aggregation.
Uttarakhand aims to produce 100 kilotons of green hydrogen annually by 2030. The cabinet has approved the Green Hydrogen Policy 2026 for this purpose. The government will also provide various incentives to green hydrogen producers. Currently, industries such as cement and steel in the state use grey hydrogen produced from thermal energy. The goal is for these industries to switch to green hydrogen produced from renewable sources in the future. This policy will enable the use of green hydrogen in heavy industries such as steel, refineries, fertilizers, and cement. A committee headed by the Chief Secretary will decide on the subsidies to be provided under this policy. The subsidy details will be announced later.

They will receive incentives.

• A 50% rebate will be provided on transmission and wheeling charges for bringing electricity from renewable energy plants to the state for use in green hydrogen plants.
• A 100% exemption will be given on additional surcharge and cross-subsidy surcharge on electricity generated from renewable energy plants, which will put an additional burden of approximately Rs. 1.21 crore per megawatt per year on the state government.
• The incentives available under the state’s prevailing policies for solar, pumped storage, and hydropower projects will also be extended to eligible green hydrogen plants for setting up solar, pumped storage, etc., for power supply.
• Green hydrogen plants will be considered industries and will be eligible for incentives under the state’s MSME Policy 2023, Mega Industrial Policy 2021, and Customized Incentive Package Guidelines 2023.
• A single-window clearance facility will be provided for obtaining time-bound statutory approvals.
• UPCL and PTCUL will have to strengthen their distribution and transmission network to ensure uninterrupted power supply to green hydrogen plants.
• In the future, if green hydrogen is used as fuel in vehicles, the government will consider providing exemption from motor vehicle tax payment, similar to electric vehicles.
• Land allocation to developers will be subject to the government order of the Revenue Department. All these incentives will be applicable for the next 10 years for projects commissioned by December 31, 2030.

UJVNL is preparing for a pilot project.

Dr. Sandeep Singhal, Managing Director of Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited, stated that preparations are underway to set up a green hydrogen plant at the Mohammadpur project in Haridwar, in collaboration with THDC. He explained that this five-metric-ton pilot project will be highly beneficial. The implementation of the green hydrogen policy will further facilitate its development. The green hydrogen produced here can be used in the state’s cement and steel industries. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set targets for this, and to achieve them, industries will initially have to use at least five percent green hydrogen. In the future, in addition to green hydrogen, oxygen will also be produced at the plant.

उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन के उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कैबिनेट ने उत्तराखंड ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन नीति 2026 को मंजूरी दे दी है। मकसद यह है कि प्रदेश में उद्योगों व अन्य क्षेत्रों में जहां भी ग्रे हाइड्रोजन (थर्मल एनर्जी से उत्पादित) का इस्तेमाल होता है, वहां ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन (हरित ऊर्जा से उत्पादित) का इस्तेमाल बढ़ाया जाए। इससे राज्य में विकास एवं रोजगार को बढ़ावा देने के साथ-सथा कार्बन उत्सर्जन रहित एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन लक्ष्यों के सापेक्ष राज्य के योगदान को पूर्ण करने के साथ ही ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन, बाजार निर्माण और मांग एकत्रीकरण को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
उत्तराखंड में वर्ष 2030 तक प्रतिवर्ष 100 किलोटन ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन का उत्पादन होगा। इसके लिए कैबिनेट ने ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन नीति 2026 मंजूर की है। इसका उत्पादन करने वालों को सरकार कई तरह का प्रोत्साहन भी देगी। प्रदेश में सीमेंट, स्टील उद्योग अभी थर्मल ऊर्जा से पैदा होने वाली ग्रे हाइड्रोजन का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। मकसद ये है कि भविष्य में ये सभी ग्रीन स्त्रोतों से पैदा होने वाली ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन का इस्तेमाल करें। इस नीति के आने के बाद ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन का इस्तेमाल स्टील, रिफाइनरी, उर्वरक, सीमेंट जैसे भारी उद्योगों में हो सकेगा। इस नीति के तहत मिलने वाली सब्सिडी के निर्धारण के लिए मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता में गठित समिति फैसला लेगी। सब्सिडी की घोषणा बाद में की जाएगी।

ये मिलेंगे प्रोत्साहन

• ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन संयंत्रों के उपयोग के लिए नवीकरण ऊर्जा संयंत्रों से प्राप्त बिजली को प्रदेश तक लाने के लिए ट्रांसमिशन शुल्क और व्हीलिंग शुल्क में 50ः की छूट मिलेगी।
• नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा संयंत्रों से प्राप्त बिजली पर अतिरिक्त अधिभार (एडिशनल ड्यूटी) और क्राॅस सब्सिडी अधिभार में 100 प्रतिशत छूट दी जाएगी, जिससे राज्य सरकार पर प्रति मेगावाट प्रतिवर्ष करीब 1.21 करोड़ रुपये का अतिरिक्त भार पड़ेगा।
• सौर, पंप स्टोरेज, जल विद्युत परियोजनाओं के लिए राज्य में प्रचलित नीतियों के तहत मिलने वाले प्रोत्साहन, पात्र ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन संयंत्रों को बिजली आपूर्ति के लिए सोलर, पंप स्टोरेज आदि स्थापित करने पर भी मिलेंगे।
• ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन संयंत्रों को उद्योग माना जाएगा और राज्य की एमएसएमई नीति 2023, मेगा इंडस्ट्रियल पाॅलिसी 2021 और अनुकूलित प्रोत्साहन पैकेज दिशा निर्देश 2023 के तहत प्रोत्साहन दिए जाएंगे।
• समयबद्ध वैधानिक स्वीकृति प्राप्त करने के लिए एकल खिड़की मंजूरी की सुविधा।
• यूपीसीएल, पिटकुल को ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन संयंत्र तक निर्वाध बिजली आपूर्ति के लिए अपना वितरण और पारेषण तंत्र मजबूत करना होगा।
• भविष्य में वाहनों में ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन का इस्तेमाल ईंधन के रूप में होने पर ई-वाहनों की भांति सरकार मोटरयान कर भुगतान में छूट प्रदान करने पर विचार करेगी।
• विकासकर्ताओं को भूमि आवंटन, राजस्व विभाग के शासनादेश के अधीन किया जाएगा। ये सभी प्रोत्साहन 31 दिसंबर 2030 तक चालू होने वाले परियोजनाओं के लिए आगामी 10 वर्षों तक लागू रहेंगे।

यूजेवीएनएल कर रहा है पायलट प्रोजेक्ट की तैयारी

उत्तराखंड जल विद्युत निगम लिमिटेड के एमडी डॉ. संदीप सिंघल ने बताया कि टीएचडीसी के साथ मिलकर हरिद्वार के मोहम्मदपुर प्रोजेक्ट में ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन का प्लांट लगाने की तैयारी की जा रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि पांच मीट्रिक टन के इस पायलट प्रोजेक्ट से काफी लाभ होगा। ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन नीति आने के बाद इसकी राह आसान हो जाएगी। यहां से उत्पादित ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन का इस्तेमाल प्रदेश के सीमेंट और स्टील इंडस्ट्री में हो सकेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इसके लिए लक्ष्य निर्धारित किए हैं, जिसे पूरा करने के लिए शुरुआत में उद्योगों को कम से कम पांच प्रतिशत ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन का इस्तेमाल करना होगा। भविष्य में ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन के अलावा ऑक्सीजन का भी उत्पादनं हो सकेगा।

Uttarakhand tops NITI Aayog’s Export Preparedness Index

Uttarakhand has topped the Export Preparedness Index-2024 released by NITI Aayog. In the category of small states, Uttarakhand secured the first position nationwide.

Business worth 15,000 crore rupees

Exports from the state are increasing every year. In 2011-12, the total exports from the state amounted to ₹3,530 crore. This figure has increased significantly over the past 13 years, exceeding ₹15,000 crore. In 2023-24, total exports reached ₹14,928 crore.

These products are exported

The state exports the largest quantities of pearls, precious stones, and metals. In addition, chemical products, agricultural and horticultural food products, herbal products, plastics and rubber, and machinery and equipment are also exported.

15 हजार करोड़ का कारोबार

राज्य में हर साल निर्यात बढ़ रहा है। वर्ष 2011-12 में राज्य से कुल 3530 करोड़ का निर्यात होता था। जो 13 साल में बढ़ कर 15 हजार करोड़ पार गया है। वर्ष 2023-24 मंे कुल 14928 करोड़ का निर्यात किया गया।

इन उत्पादों का होता है निर्यात

प्रदेश से सबसे अधिक मोती, कीमती पत्थर, धातुओं का निर्यात किया जाता है। इसके अलावा रासायनिक उत्पाद, कृषि व बागवानी आधारित खाद्य पदार्थ, हर्बल उत्पाद, प्लास्टिक व रबड़ के अलावा मशीनरी उपकरण का एक्सपोर्ट होता है।

Eat Right Youth Hackathon-2026

On National Youth Day, Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated the Eat Right Youth Hackathon-2026 via webinar from Mumbai. In this competition, the youth of the state will present their innovative ideas regarding safe and balanced diets.
The top five teams selected in the competition will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 1.5 lakh, Rs. 1 lakh, Rs. 75,000, and two prizes of Rs. 50,000 each, along with trophies.

The country’s first gymnosperm garden

In the country’s first gymnosperm garden, located at Radi Top on the Dharasu-Phulchatti highway, endangered plants from the Jurassic era are being cultivated and conserved. Additionally, eight rare medicinal herbs are being conserved at the Ashwarg Conservation Center in Harshil. The research wing of the Forest Department established the country’s first gymnosperm garden in 2025 on one hectare of land amidst oak and rhododendron forests at an altitude of approximately 2300 meters above sea level.
The most important species in this garden are Ginkgo biloba and Thuja. Both of these species are listed in the endangered category by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Ginkgo biloba is considered a plant from the Jurassic period. Along with these, species such as Japanese cedar, blue pine, cypress, Somlata, sago palm, and Chilgoza pine are also being cultivated and conserved.

The Udaipur goat has been recognized as the 43rd distinct breed

It has received recognition as a distinct breed. This goat breed is reared by goat farmers in the Garhwal region for meat, which supplements their agricultural income.
The native region of this goat is the Udhaipuri and Ajmeri belt of the Western Himalayan region of Uttarakhand state, specifically from Dugadda to Yamkeshwar (in Pauri Garhwal). Udhaipuri goats are an important source of income for local goat farmers as they are sold in the market when needed and are also used in religious rituals.
The Animal Husbandry Department can now include it as a recognized goat breed in the state’s goat breeding policy for further improvement and conservation.

This is the special characteristic of the goat

Udaipuri goats are well-adapted to temperate climates. This breed is raised for meat production. They are medium-sized, brown in color, with a compact body and black stripes on their upper parts. The head is slightly convex, and they have black hair on their forehead. They have a thin muzzle, bright eyes, and a black nose. The ears are pendulous, and wattles and a beard are absent. The horns are medium-sized, flattened, pointed, and curve outwards and backwards. The average body weight of adult males and females is 25-30 kg and 21-25 kg, respectively.

उत्तराखण्ड की एक विश्ष्टि नस्ल की बकरी ‘उदयपुरी’ को आधिकारिक तौर पर बकरियों की 43वीं प्रजाति के रूप में मान्यता मिली है। इस बकरी की नस्ल को गढ़वाल मंडल के बकरी पालक मांस के लिए पालते हैं, जो उनकी कृषि आय में पूरक होती है।
इस बकरी का मूल क्षेत्र उत्तराखंड प्रदेश के पश्चिम हिमालयी क्षेत्र उदयपुरी व अजमेरी पट्टी यानी दुगड्डा से यमकेश्वर तक (पौड़ी गढ़वाल में) स्थित है। उदयपुरी बकरियां स्थानीय बकरी पालकों के लिए आय का महत्वपूर्ण स्त्रोत हैं क्योंकि आवश्यकता पड़ने पर इन्हें बाजार में बेच दिया जाता है और धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों में भी इनका उपयोग किया जाता है।
पशुपालन विभाग अब इसके आगे के सुधार और सरंक्षण के लिए इसे राज्य बकरी प्रजनन नीति में मान्यता प्राप्त बकरी नस्ल के रूप में शामिल कर सकता है।

बकरी की यह है खासियत

उदयपुरी बकरियां समशीतोष्ण जलवायु कि अनुकूल होती हैं। इस नस्ल की बकरियां मांस उत्पाद के लिए पाली जाती है। इनका मध्यम आकार, भूरे रंग, सुगठित शरीर वाली और उसके ऊपरी भाग पर काली धारियां पाई जाती हैं। सिर थोड़ा उभरा हुआ होता है और माथे पर काले बाल होते हैं। पतली थूथन, चमकीली आंखें और काली नाक होती है। कान लटके हुए और वेटल और दाढ़ी अनुपस्थित रहती है। सींग मध्यम आकार के चपटे, नुकीले और बाहर को पीछे की ओर मुड़े हुए होते है। नर और मादा के वयस्क शरीर का भार औसतन 25-30 किलोग्राम और 21-25 किलोग्राम तक होता है।
