The Tibetan spiritual leader, the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, has achieved a new milestone by winning his first Grammy Award. He was honored with the music industry’s most prestigious international award for his audio recording, “Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama,” which focuses on peace, compassion, and human values.
The Dalai Lama was declared the winner in the highly competitive category of Best Spoken Word Album (including poetry, audiobooks, and storytelling) at the 68th Grammy Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles on Sunday.
