- The Indian Army has formed the “Bhairav” modern warfare force with 100,000 drone operators.
- This force has been developed as a drone-centric modern combat unit.
- It will comprise over 100,000 soldiers/drone operators.
- ‘Bhairav’ will be one of the world’s largest drone-enabled combat units.
- This force is capable of real-time surveillance, precision strikes, and intelligence gathering.
- The objective of its formation is to enhance India’s dominance on the battlefield.
What is Bhairav Force?
- It is a next-generation combat unit where every soldier is trained in advanced drone operations and technology-based battlefield operations.
Key capabilities-
- Aggressive and precise attack on the enemy
- Real-time monitoring
- High-speed multi-environment operation
Current status:
- 15 Bhairav battalions have been formed so far.
- They have been deployed on both borders (LoC and LoAC).
- This will be increased to 25 battalions.

- इस बल को ड्रोन-केंद्रित आधुनिक लड़ाकू इकाई के रूप में विकसित किया गया है।
- इसमें 100,000 से ज़्यादा सैनिक/ड्रोन ऑपरेटर शामिल होंगे।
- ‘भैरव’ दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी ड्रोन-सक्षम लड़ाकू इकाइयों में से एक होगी।
- यह बल रियल-टाइम निगरानी, सटीक हमले और खुफिया जानकारी इकट्ठा करने में सक्षम है।
- इसके गठन का उद्देश्य युद्ध के मैदान में भारत का दबदबा बढ़ाना है।
भैरव फोर्स क्या है?
- यह अगली पीढ़ी की लड़ाकू इकाई है जहाँ हर सैनिक को एडवांस्ड ड्रोन संचालन और टेक्नोलॉजी-आधारित युद्धक्षेत्र संचालन में प्रशिक्षित किया जाता है।
मुख्य क्षमताएं-
- दुश्मन पर आक्रामक और सटीक हमला
- रियल-टाइम निगरानी
- तेज़ गति से मल्टी-एनवायरनमेंट ऑपरेशन
वर्तमान स्थिति:
- अब तक 15 भैरव बटालियन बनाई जा चुकी हैं।
- इन्हें दोनों सीमाओं (LoC और LoAC) पर तैनात किया गया है।
- इसे बढ़ाकर 25 बटालियन किया जाएगा।
